We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist General Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general surgery, demonstrate exceptional surgical skills, and have a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Specialist General Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a range of surgical procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall improvement of surgical services within the organization. Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to appendectomies, hernia repairs, and gallbladder surgeries.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and patient consultations to determine appropriate surgical interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized surgical plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Ensure all surgical procedures are performed in compliance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor post-operative recovery, manage complications, and provide comprehensive follow-up care.
- Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgical nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in regular surgical rounds and contribute to case discussions in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation for all surgical procedures and patient interactions.
- Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies through continuous education and training.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department.

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a general surgery residency program.
- Valid medical license to practice in the UAE or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general surgery, with a proven track record in performing complex surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest surgical practices.

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 65,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
