The Proposal Writer will play a crucial role in our business development efforts by creating compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective clients. This individual will work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to gather information and craft proposals that meet client requirements and stand out in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Proposal Development: Lead the creation, development, and delivery of high-quality proposals, including responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and compelling content that effectively communicates KNZ Solutions’ capabilities, benefits, and differentiators.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, insights, and approvals for proposal content.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client requirements and internal standards.
• Formatting and Design: Ensure proposals are visually appealing and professionally formatted in alignment with company branding guidelines.
• Deadline Management: Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with high-quality submissions.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain and update proposal templates, standard content, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of proposal development processes.
• Research: Conduct research on potential clients, industry trends, and competitor offerings to tailor proposals and position KNZ Solutions effectively.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with federal, state, and local government contracting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
• APMP certification or other relevant professional certifications.

Skills:
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with proposal management software and CRM systems is a plus.
