JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Wizejob HR Consultancy. As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye ailments, performing surgeries, and prescribing medications.

Your expertise will help provide high-quality eye care to our patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough eye examinations to assess vision, identify eye diseases, and provide appropriate treatment
- Performing surgical procedures such as cataract removal, corneal transplantation, and laser surgeries
- Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications to correct and manage eye conditions
- Educating patients about eye health, preventive measures, and treatment options
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including optometrists, nurses, and technicians, to provide comprehensive eye care
- Keeping detailed records of patient visits, diagnoses, and treatment plans

Requirements:

Requirements:
- Medical degree in Ophthalmology
- Completion of residency and fellowship programs in Ophthalmology
- Valid license to practice Ophthalmology
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions and injuries
- Excellent surgical skills and strong knowledge of advanced ophthalmic procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in Ophthalmology

Salary:
AED 55,000 to 65,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
