SAP FICO Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FICO solutions to meet our business needs within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, ensuring that our financial processes are optimized and aligned with industry standards. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of SAP FICO applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within SAP.
- Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and user training materials.
- Train and support end-users on SAP FICO functionalities, promoting best practices and compliance with financial processes.
- Monitor and optimize financial processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO developments and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of SAP FICO initiatives.
- Assist in preparing and presenting reports and dashboards for management, providing critical insights into financial performance and compliance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FICO module configuration, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and upgrades.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- SAP certification in FICO is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
