Warehouse Assistant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse roles and will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities
- Receive all materials from the suppliers. Critically scrutinizing all documents (Purchase orders, delivery notes, Test certificates etc.).
- Ensure the packaging is export worthy, quantity and specification is as ordered.
- Proper tagging of materials immediately upon receipt and placing the same assigned storage area.
- ERP transactions clarity. Receipts, issuances and adjustments.
- Urgent reporting of discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
- Conducts physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stocks and identifying losses.
- Proper handover and flow of materials for the outbound process.
- Container loading/stuffing ideas

- 2-5 years’ experience in Warehouse roles. Understanding of and experience with warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Preferable a diploma in Warehouse Management or similar.
- Computer literacy: MS Office Suite and ERP (preferably Acumatica)
- Forklift operation experience preferable*
