Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy.

In this position you would be responsible for the following:

• Manage inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage practices.
• Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and condition monitoring to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) to track inventory movements, update records, and generate reports as required.
• Implement traceability controls for items based on serial numbers (S/N), lots, batches, etc., to facilitate accurate tracking and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid stockouts while minimizing carrying costs.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against documentation and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful you would ideally possess:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of stock checking methodologies, condition monitoring, and reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of traceability concepts including serial numbers (S/N), lot, and batch tracking.
• Ability to assess the value of inventory items and manage costs effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
