$500 million mixed use development based 10 minutes drive from Yas Island has just been awarded. Leading Global business that employ over 10,000 staff worldwide. A rich history of delivering some of the most complex projects across the world for the past 86 years.

Description:
• Based on site in Abu Dhabi you will be the no1 technical lead manager for this project reporting into the regional design manager for MENA and working closely with the project director onsite.
• Leading the design, engineering, temporary works, cad and engineering aspects.
• 5 High Rise Residential towers ranging from 22- 40 storeys. Each block with underground parking and services to support this mixed-use development. A range of bespoke and luxury 4-to-6-bedroom townhouses that back onto a waterfront setting.
• You will possess the technical know how to manage architecture, structures, MEP, luxury finishes & fittings.
• A clear history working on relevant major projects in a technical and design capacity.
• Can you respond and adapt to design change and change management?
• Documenting and handling approval processes with the client & architect. Able to call on past experiences to manage risk and contract conditions.
• This will be one of the most iconic residential developments to hit the market in the past 10 years for Abu Dhabi.

• Experience of Abu Dhabi building codes
• Familiar on LEAN & OSHAD
• Ability to manage and liaise with all stakeholders
• BIM software experience
• Managed and motivated multinational design and technical teams on site
• Based on site you will form strong working relationships between contracts, production and procurement.
• Heading the technical department, you will be the responsible for a team and have to raise /manage issues as they arise.

Requested:
• Degree educated – civil engineering or architecture
• 15 years post graduate experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a technical manager handling complex high rise, hotels and mixed-use projects in the Middle East preferably the United Arab Emirates
• CV that shows loyalty, progression and success

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 45,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
