The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about helping leaders and teams achieve high performance and well-being? Then we want to speak with you! As a Talent & Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture and driving HR excellence across our hotel property.

In this role you'll get to:

Support the overall operation of the Talent & Culture department. This includes guiding strategy and change management initiatives, fostering effective team-building practices, employee engagement, performance management processes and labour relations. Your role will involve working closely with teams to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive positive outcomes in all aspects of talent and culture.

Boost Employee Engagement:

- Be the go-to person for colleagues, leaders, and guests, delivering luxury service
- Oversee the hotel's employee engagement initiatives including developing strategies, execution and results
- Highlight employee recognition through internal channels to enhance the employee experience.
- Create creative campaigns to engage and retain employees.

Drive HR Strategy & Technology:

- Oversee HR strategy, including new process implementations, HR technology adoption, and organizational design initiatives.

Drive Performance Reviews:

- Manage and coordinate the performance review process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback is given to all employees.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and implement effective performance review strategies.
- Train and support managers and employees on performance review best practices.

Manage Employee Relations & Risk Management:

- Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Investigate employee concerns including any allegations of discrimination, harassment, and other employee relations issues.
- Execute HR strategy to address performance management and employee issues in a unionized environment

Provide Administrative Support:

- Assist with managing administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, handling payroll, employee benefits and ensuring the accuracy of HR data and documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment standards legislation and company policies.

Requirements:

- MBA in HR from a reputed Business school
- 8-10 years relevant experience in hospitality in international brands of which at least 3 years should be in a similar responsibility level
- Re-Branding & Pre-opening Experience would be an added advantage.
- Strong Leadership abilities and organizational skills;
- Excellent people Management skills to manage a team of highly innovative & creative Professionals.
- Ability to work under pressure & excellent problem solving & decision making skills.
- Process orientation;
- Go-getter; comfortable taking ownership and expanding scope of responsibilities.
- High on Integrity; is self-motivated; High on energy and passion for the job
- Excellent presentation and Communication Skills.
