Synopsis

The SEO Content Officer will be responsible for creating SEO content that drive organic search rankings for relevant travel queries, increase website traffic, and contribute to direct revenue growth. They will collaborate closely with teams in Digital & E-Commerce to align SEO content with revenue-focused business goals and objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of technical SEO writing, SEO best practices to create high-quality content that help readers and rank well in Google

Accountabilities

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Research unique information about travel and aviation globally.
- Create high-quality and engaging content about travel & tourism.
- Rewriting of page headlines, subheadings and brief write-ups.
- Technical writing on travel and other topics with human approach covering in-depth long-form content of 500 - 1000 words.
- The ability to keep a cool head and meet the SEO deadlines.
- Collaborate across the Digital & E-commerce team to make the SEO work great.
- Interact with internal teams on making relevant changes to the website content.
- Review the website content to align with better optimization of the page

Requirements:

Education & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a client or agency SEO role, airline/ travel experience desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and technical writing.
- Experience with SEO tools to generate keyword ideas.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate SEO strategies and tactics to cross-functional teams
