Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:
- Contribute and provide operational advice on preparation of security governance, compliance strategies, and implementation of innovative technical solutions to ADNOC and Group Companies.
- Organize awareness programs on the compliance framework, for ADNOC and Group Companies.
- Lead a wide range of compliance assurance activities at onshore/ offshore locations ensuring that security operations are aligned with ADNOC PSMS business goals, complies with regulatory requirements, and effectively manages risk.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team to achieve the goals of the GCS Protective Security Management System (i.e., ISO:28000 program). Implement the Compliance and associated governance framework across key risk areas. Verify implementation status of security programs for designated entities and ensure program capability / capacity to deter, detect, and respond to security threats and violations in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and internal protocols.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Specific Accountabilities

- Develop and implement security governance, risk, and compliance procedures and/or guidelines in accordance with ISO 28000, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other business units to establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance and governance framework, including risk assessments, risk monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform regular inspections of security programs, processes, and controls at designated business units to identify potential risks and gaps in compliance; and communicate the results of the reports with the respective company.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines related to private security services and ensure that ADNOC remains compliant with all applicable regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security governance, risk management, and compliance issues, and provide guidance and advice to the Security In-charge at designated business units.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on security governance, risk management, and compliance topics to ensure that all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure that all physical security-related incidents and risks are appropriately documented, tracked, and reported, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Manage and oversee 3rd-party security service providers and security vendors to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the Security In-charge at designated business units to ensure emergency response plans are in place and current.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security governance, risk management, and compliance programs, and recommend changes or improvements as needed.

Generic Accountabilities

- Ensure that business units comply with industrial security specifications, standards, UAE regulations, and AD laws.
- Review operational practices, create, and enforce compliance plans, and perform risk reviews.
- Ensure that all security processes are controlled and monitored for quality and compliance.
- Developing and providing employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems.
- Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
- Tracking and responding to complaints.
- Maintaining records of compliance activities.
- Communicating with government agencies.
- Preparing and filing compliance reports.

Supervision
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.
- Enhance the security systems related process, guidelines, and the procedure to meet the group vision.

Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implement approved Group Corporate Security policies, standards, and guidelines in line with the protective security management system framework (ISO:28000 PSMS program).
- Implement approved Department / Section policies and processes to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs.

Performance Management
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section, in line with the protective security management system framework (i.e., ISO:28000 criteria).

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify improvements in internal processes in pursuit of greater efficiency in performing the Department / Section functions.
- Innovate and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational security services.
- Contribute to the growth of the protective security management system (PSMS) as a skilled practitioner and maintain ADNOCs standards for deliverables and services.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines, in line with ADNOC Code of Practices.

- Prepare compliance monitoring plan based on Level 2 site reviews
- Prepare Level 2 site review reports and identify Corrective Actions for follow-up.

Requirements:

- Accredited Diploma (Level 5) in a security related topic
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Minimum five (5) years of security-related experience, including supervisory
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Proficient English communication level with Arabic an advantage
- Strong command of operational security tasks
- Proven skills in planning, organising, scheduling, coordinating, checking, examining, and recording
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and professional demeanour

Professional Certifications
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional
