Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Architect to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This position will be responsible for facilitating the coordination of the architectural and engineering services on the project.

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Assist the Project Architect with Client and project coordination.
- May operate as a Project Leader and prepare schedules, budgets and quality requirements. ? Assesses the project requirements, breaks the project down into tasks and works with the Project Manager to determine the scope of works, budget and staffing.
- Provides solutions to resolve complex design issues that are technical in nature.
- Assist the Project Manager in providing performance evaluation commentary.
- Coordinates construction document preparation with supervision by Project Manager or ? Project Architect which includes analyzing building/zoning code, outlining document contents with "half size" sets and specification outline, reviewing compliance with design intent and use of materials and coordination with specification, promoting adherence to office standards and procedures, conducting research and creating details, and continually reviewing compliance with the design intent, use of materials and coordination with specification
- Reviews the work of consultants for coordination purposes with the Project Manager or Project Architect.
- Advises the design team on technical issues influencing design, coordinates with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers and regulatory agencies.
- Assist Technical Manager and Project Director in report preparation.
- Assists in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting staff. Performs other duties as required.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture or Engineering.

- Experience in high-rise and low-rise construction projects is preferred
- Must be proficient in MS Office Application (Word,excel, Project, Power point) and various Architectural design programs.
- Microsoft office, Primavera and Microsoft Project applications knowledge is essential.
