Overview of the role

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for devising comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives . This involves identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate channels, and setting measurable goals to optimize marketing campaigns' performance.

The Jobholder is responsible for leading the end-to-end PPC operations and strategies, managing paid advertising campaigns across channels and relevant platforms.

What you will do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on retail and e-commerce growth for each of the AFG retail brands.
- Oversee a team of up to 10 digital marketing professionals, providing coaching, mentorship and ensuring a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Manage and analyze business intelligence data by leading the Digital Business Analytics team.
- Lead the development and execution of targeted predictive marketing campaigns to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
- Manage all aspects of performance marketing, including paid search (PPC), paid social, and display advertising, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external marketing agencies, managing contracts and vendor performance.
- Plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of a variety of marketing activities, including:
- CRM email marketing campaigns
- Paid search, social, and display advertising campaigns
- Search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives
- Content marketing strategies
- Continuously monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement A/B testing to optimize results.
- Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and recommend innovative ways to enhance our marketing efforts.

Requirements:

Required Skills to be successful
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies across multiple channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.).
- Strong understanding of business analytics, customer relationship management (CRM /CDP), and marketing automation platforms such as Bloomreach
- Experience in managing and leading a high-performing marketing team.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making with a strong analytical mind.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for the retail and e-commerce industry.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management

What equips you for the role

Minimum Qualification and Knowledge
- Education : Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience
- Minimum 5 years in managing a Performance Marketing team.
- Experience in Retail E-commerce environment
- Knowledge of marketing attribution modeling, including MMM and MTA.
- Experience in the GCC region
- Experience in the Southeast Asia region
