IT Executive

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT-Executive to join our Client's team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In this role, you will oversee and manage the technology operations of their company, design and implement IT strategies, and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background while being able to manage and motivate people.

The objective is to ensure that information technology maximizes value for the company and aids in achieving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and define IT strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Oversee the implementation of IT systems, ensuring that infrastructure and applications meet business needs and are deployed on schedule.
* Manage all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate their performance against established objectives.
* Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity to protect the company’s sensitive information.
* Prepare, manage, and control the annual operating and capital budgets for the IT department.
* Identify and address security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions to enhance data safety.
* Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services.
* Conduct research to identify innovative technologies that can enhance and optimize business performance.
* Develop and lead the IT human resources team to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Executive or similar role.
* Sound knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
* Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts to business stakeholders.
* Exceptional project management, service orientation, and team management.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
