Job Description
The Cluster Director of Sales Leisure is responsible for leading and managing the leisure sales efforts for multiple hotels within a designated cluster. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share from the leisure travel segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive leisure travel bookings and revenue across the hotel cluster.
- Identify and target potential markets and segments within the leisure travel sector.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead and mentor the leisure sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Establish performance metrics and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and ensure effective communication of sales strategies and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key leisure travel partners, including travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure business and maximize revenue.
- Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to promote the properties.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies and packages that appeal to the leisure market.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Implement promotional activities and campaigns to drive leisure bookings.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support leisure sales efforts.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure exceptional guest experiences for leisure travellers.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

Desired Skill & Expertise

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on the leisure market.
- Experience in a cluster or multi-property sales role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Knowledge of local and international leisure travel markets.
