Senior Commercial Manager - Main Contractor

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial activities on a large-scale construction project in Jeddah. The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading the commercial team to ensure all contracts and contractual obligations are met and that the project is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the commercial team and ensure all contractual requirements are met.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as clients, contractors and suppliers, to ensure all commercial objectives are met.
• Monitor and control the commercial aspects of the project, including budgeting, project management and cost control.
• Ensure the project adheres to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the profitability of the project.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management relating to the commercial aspects of the project.
• Carry out risk management and mitigation activities.
• Ensure proper records of all contractual activities are maintained.

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering.
• Proven experience in a commercial role in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in English OR Arabic is preferred.

Salary:
SAR 55,000 to 85,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
