Position Overview: As the MEP Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects in Riyadh, KSA. You will play a crucial role in managing the MEP contractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgetary guidelines, and quality standards, while also fostering local talent and contributing to the development of the construction industry in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the MEP team on construction projects, including coordination with other project teams and subcontractors.
- Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of MEP milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare and manage MEP budgets, closely monitoring costs, and implementing cost-saving strategies wherever possible.
- Oversee the MEP contractor selection process, including prequalification, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation, promoting local contractors and vendors.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to source and purchase MEP equipment, materials, and systems, with a focus on supporting the local supply chain.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of MEP works, identify and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Ensure adherence to construction standards, codes, and regulations related to MEP systems in Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to verify the accuracy and functionality of MEP installations.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, and clients, to ensure their requirements are met.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the MEP team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a local subject matter expert, staying updated with the latest developments and advancements in MEP technologies and practices, providing guidance and insights to the team.

Requirements:

- Saudi national with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP construction management, preferably in the construction industry in Riyadh or Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, equipment, materials, and installation practices, particularly in the Saudi Arabian context.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP design drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, and international best practices in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience in managing MEP subcontractors, contracts, and procurement processes, with a focus on supporting local contractors and vendors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
