Costing Officer - Professional - Manufacturing

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Professional to join our manufacturing team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing estimates, and developing pricing models to ensure efficient and profitable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for improvement to enhance profitability
- Develop and maintain costing models to accurately estimate production and operational expenses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for product costing and pricing
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports to senior management to support decision-making
- Monitor and review actual production costs against budgeted costs and provide variance analysis
- Recommend and implement cost control measures to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce expenses
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to analyze material and labor costs
- Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation to ensure accurate cost allocation

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, and variance analysis techniques
- Proficiency in using SAP S/4 Hanan, ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's manufacturing regulations and industry practices is advantageous

Salary:
SAR 12,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
