Senior Interior Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join a team in Dubai The ideal candidate will have international experience, a passion for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing interior designs, as well as the ability to lead a team and manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for interior projects from concept development to completion, ensuring high-quality design and adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that meet their needs and vision
- Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, material selections, and 3D renderings, to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
- Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and contribute to the success of the team
- Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, furnishings, and fixtures, ensuring that they meet quality standards and project requirements
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and in accordance with design specifications
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve the design process and deliver innovative solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- International experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and design expertise
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software
- Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of spatial arrangements and aesthetics
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and collaborate with clients and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in UAE
- Passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions
