Senior Interior Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join a team and lead the design process for hospitality projects in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing interior concepts for hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality spaces, with a focus on creating unique and immersive experiences for guests.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for hospitality projects from concept development to final implementation, ensuring that the designs align with the project's objectives and client's vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of interior design concepts with the overall project plan.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential information and insights that will inform the design process and contribute to the creation of innovative and functional spaces.
- Develop detailed design presentations, including mood boards, material selections, and 3D renderings, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in hospitality design, and integrate new ideas and technologies into the design process to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior design team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment while ensuring the successful execution of design projects.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an interior designer with a focus on hospitality projects, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree or additional certifications in hospitality design is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to create detailed and visually compelling design presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex design projects, with a strong understanding of construction and FF&E processes within the hospitality sector.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative and memorable design solutions that elevate the guest experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to design challenges.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful hospitality projects, highlighting the candidate's ability to deliver exceptional design solutions that exceed client expectations.
