JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The First Aid Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive first aid training to external clients as well as the internal team. Your primary responsibility will be to educate participants on proper first aid techniques, emergency response procedures, and life-saving interventions. You will create a dynamic and engaging learning environment, ensuring participants gain the knowledge and confidence needed to handle emergencies effectively

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering training sessions to the company’s clients, these sessions could be in-person, online, or a combination of both.
• Ensure that the training content is presented clearly and engagingly, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Conduct engaging and informative first aid training sessions for external clients.
• Customize training content to meet the specific needs of diverse industries and client groups with per management approval.
• Conducting and assist in demonstrations and practical exercises that allow participants to apply safety.
• Address participant questions, provide clarifications, and ensure a thorough understanding of safety concepts and practices.
• Conduct training sessions in a clear, organized, and professional manner, using a variety of instructional techniques to ensure training attendees understanding.
• Administer assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and mastery of first aid concepts.
• Adjust training content and delivery style based on the participants' background, experience, and learning pace.
• Assist training managers develop training materials, presentations, and resources that cover various first aid topics. This may involve researching regulations, industry standards, and best practices to create effective training content.
• Tailor training materials and content to align with the client's specific requirements and industry regulations as per company’s instruction.
• Stay updated on safety regulations, industry trends, and effective training methodologies to enhance training delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training content based on participant feedback, industry developments, and training effectiveness.
• Provide constructive feedback to participants and recommend additional training if necessary.
• Ensure to follow company’s training protocols/ SOP.
• Organizing and setting up training venues, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth training delivery.
• Follow the training trackers on time and coordinate with the training coordinator for the timely delivery of the training programs.
• Assisting the training coordinator to coordinate with the site and location.
• Make sure that all the trainings courses delivered are done and in line with the standards as set by the company.
• Arriving early, setting up the training area to our high standards.
• Make sure all delegates paper work is filled and sent to the training coordinator in a timely manner.
• Pass if any sales enquiries quickly efficiently to the sales representative.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Nursing Degree will be preferred)
• Certification as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from a recognized organization
• Must be approved by authorities in Dubai (DCAS, Trakhees, Other international First Aid Bodies)
• Train the Trainer Certificate
• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage
• NEBOSH Level 3 will be an added advantage
• Proven experience at least 6 years (min 3 years’ experience in UAE) in delivering first aid training either in house or Third Party in a diverse range of industries
• Strong knowledge of first aid principles, emergency response procedures, and safety protocols
• Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, eager to learn and adaptive and flexible attitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Organizational skills to manage training schedules, materials, and client relationship
• Proficient in IT (Windows Operating System, MS Office specially PowerPoint and Tools)
• Language proficiency in English and Hindi, other languages will be added advantage
• UAE Driving License will be an added advantage

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
