JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Documentation and Operation Executive to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various documentation and operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient freight forwarding operations. This role will be based in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for freight forwarding operations, including bills of lading, shipping invoices, and customs documentation.
- Contacting and negotiating rates with overseas agent and local shipping lines and transport companies
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation and operational tasks.
- Monitor and track shipment schedules, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders and addressing any issues or delays as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards regarding documentation and operational processes.
- Assist in resolving any documentation or operational issues that may arise during the freight forwarding process, working closely with team members and external parties to find effective solutions.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in documentation and operational roles within the freight forwarding industry, with a strong understanding of the documentation requirements and operational processes involved in freight forwarding.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple documentation tasks and operational responsibilities concurrently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all documentation and operational activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient freight forwarding operations.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards related to freight forwarding documentation and operational processes, with a commitment to maintaining compliance at all times.
