Logistics Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job purpose
• Facilitates communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

Duties and responsibilities
• Capacity planning : Assuring that the needed resources (manufacturing capacity ,distribution center capacity ,transportation vehicles ) will be available at the right time and place to meet the logistics and supply chain needs
• Order processing
• Production Scheduling and time management
• Inventory management and Optimization

Job requires travel to warehouse
• Material replenishment planning
• Logistics ,Warehousing and Distribution
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Reviewing purchase orders and preparing shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Ensuring that Packaging, handling and labeling are as per customer requirement
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Plan and track the shipments
• Supplier selection and cost control
• Risk Assessment
• Comply with laws regulations and ISO requirements

Requirements:

• Education : Minimum graduate (Preferred in supply chain ,ISO 9001 certification)
• Effective communication ,including writing ,speaking and interpersonal communication in English
• Quick critical thinking and problem solving abilities and conflict management.
• Good collaboration and team work abilities
• Ability to use compute software and other technology for inventory and communication purpose
• Minimum of 4 years experience in chemical field(preferred) with understanding of logistics terminology
• Self motivational and self directed learning
• Valid UAE Driving License (Preferred)

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
