Consultant Radiologist

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to join our reputable company, Wizejob HR Consultancy. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for using medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat injuries and diseases.

Radiologist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care
• Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians
• Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images
• Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques such as embolization, angioplasty, and ablation with image guidance
• Working with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses, and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Creating a radiation treatment plan for patients with cancer
• Managing radiation side effects in cancer patients

Requirements:

Radiologist Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid ACLS and BLS certification
• Specialization degree and successful 5 years of residency
• Valid state licensure to practice
• Proven success with relevant procedures and treatments
• Compliance with all laws and hospital policies
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the specialty is preferred
• Good manners and effective communication skills

Salary:
AED 60,000 to 70,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Flight once a year, 30 days of annual leave, 10 public holidays, Accommodation and education allowance of children’s.
