JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Planners to join them on Data Centre Projects in Sweden.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects.
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules and histograms.
• Leading planning meetings.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Travelling to projects to carry out the above, if required.
• Training staff, if required.
• Covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required.
• Exceptional Problem Solving capabilities.

Requirements:
Essential Criteria for the Role:
• 3 years+ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent IT Skills – High Competency in MS Excel is required.
