JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Manager to join our manufacturing team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management within the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, cost estimation, and budgeting in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and standards for the manufacturing operations.
- Analyze costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct cost analyses, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely cost data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives and identify areas for cost optimization in the manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular cost audits and recommend improvements to enhance cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing of inventory items.
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports to senior management and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Must be CMA qualified, has CMA certificate
- SAP S/4 HANA is must to this role
- Proven experience as a Costing Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in cost management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to drive cost optimization initiatives.
