JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is leading TFM in the Kingdom, and they are currently seeking for a Chief Accountant to be based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role will report to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for FP&A, Budgeting, VAT(Taxation), Monthly and Yearly Closing.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of the approved budget to monitor actual expenditure against budget, analyze significant variances and identify any opportunities for cost efficiencies.
• Assist with the development of financial models in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
• Prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision making purposes.
• Knowledge on Zakat/VAT Authority communications.
• Knowledge on Accounts receivable – Invoicing & Client Communications.
• Knowledge on Month end, Yearend reconciliation, Audit Process.
• Knowledge on Banking Transactions
• Assist with the preparation of budget and Best Estimate.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject or otherwise extensive finance.
• Preferable an accounting Qualification (ACCA, CA, CMA, IFRS).
• experience and demonstrated financial acumen.
• Recognized professional accounting qualification preferable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Requires a minimum of 10 years related experience in financial planning & Accounting,
