Job Title: Workshop Technician
Reporting to: Workshop Superintendent
Subordinates: Workshop Helper
Minimum Education: Secondary / Diploma
Age Requirement: Not Above 35 Years
Years of Experience: 2 Years
Certifications / Licenses: NM

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Workshop Technician shall be responsible for:
- Maintain all Company equipment in operating condition as per maintenance schedule.
- Update equipment maintenance history in equipment maintenance management system .
- Assist the Senior Maintenance Specialist/Workshop Superintendent in assuring that expendables, materials and supplies are not wasted
- Assist the Operator in checking the equipment for any damages that might have occurred during transit.
- Assist Operator/Senior Operator to perform daily maintenance prescribed in the maintenance manual and record the same in the maintenance file.
- Assist in all equipment maintenance tasks as instructed by the Operator/Supervisor.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of tools, equipment and machines as per the instruction of the Operator/Supervisor.
- Ensure that the use of all expendables, materials and supplies are not wasted and these materials and supplies are kept in a secure place and locked.
- Assist as per direct instruction the Operator/Supervisor in all operations.
- Provide all necessary support to all Service line departments.
- Assist Operators and Senior Operators in 200 hours of equipment monthly maintenance prescribed in the maintenance Manual and record the same in the maintenance file.
- Assist Operators and Senior Operators in 500 hours of equipment quarterly maintenance of equipment prescribed in the maintenance Manual and record the same in the maintenance file.
- Assist Operators and Senior Operators in 2000 hours of equipment maintenance along with the Mechanic/Senior Maintenance Specialist.
- Carry other duties and tasks as and when assigned by the Workshop Superintendent/ Operations Manager.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have possessed the following skills and competencies:
- Should be proficient in the English language
- Should have Basic Computer Skills
- Should have basic typing and clerical skills
- Should possess initiative, dependability, resourcefulness.
- Should be willing to work in a team
- Should have the ability to learn
