Project Engineer - Fire Protection Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Plan and oversee the implementation of Fire Protection system projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers, to integrate advanced Fire Protection technologies into various projects.
• Conduct regular assessments to optimize the performance of Fire Protection systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal company specifications in the design and deployment of Fire Protection solutions.
• Coordinate project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable plans for the development and enhancement of Fire Protection systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision-making and project planning.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Fire Protection technology, incorporating relevant innovations into project designs.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports.
• Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on the use and maintenance of Fire Protection systems.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of Fire Protection technologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Fire Protection system projects.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction with the implemented Fire Protection solutions.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a related field such as Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 06-08+ years of experience in project engineering and/or project supervision/management.
• Knowledgeable of the local market (at least 3 years Qatar experience)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skill
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD as a plus.
