We Are Seeking a VP EFTA Training

EFTA is looking for a seasoned and strategic VP EFTA Training to lead the development and delivery of our comprehensive flight training programs. This role involves managing the planning, implementation, and oversight of all training activities, ensuring they meet the stringent standards of Emirates Airline and regulatory bodies such as GCAA and EASA.

What you will do

- Develop and implement a training strategy aligned with business needs, operational planning, budget, and recruitment.
- Oversee daily flight and ground training ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with GCAA and EASA Approved Training Organization (ATO) pilot training programs.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to meet training demands.
- Establish effective relationships with Regulatory Authority Inspectors.
- Prepare annual training and budget plans.
- Implement compliance assurance programs and maintain quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and update training-related manuals and documents.
- Lead the planning and development of Flight Training, FSTD training, theoretical knowledge, and English Language training and assessments.
- Drive improvements in ground and flying syllabi.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience
This job might be for you if you have:

- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 12+ years of Flight Operations experience with requisite training and management experience.
- Must hold or have held a Flight Instructor qualification or qualifications such as a Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner, Synthetic Flight Instructor, or Synthetic Flight Examiner.
- Demonstrated expertise in aviation management and leadership along with a professional pilot license (ATPL) and associated ratings or certificates issued by Part-FCL.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities at a managerial level and a strong working knowledge of Part-FCL regulations.
