Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Vendor Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the relationships between our company and its vendors or suppliers. He/She will work closely with various departments within the organization to identify vendor requirements, negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and resolve any issues that may arise during the vendor relationship.

Responsibilities:
• Identify potential vendors based on the organization's needs.
• Evaluate vendors based on factors such as product quality, pricing, reliability, and reputation.
• Conduct due diligence on vendors to ensure they meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with vendors, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
• Work with legal and procurement teams to finalize contract agreements.
• Manage Vendor Data Base & Master data in terms of developing, updating & cleansing.
• Address any performance issues with vendors and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and maintain strong working relationships with key vendor contacts.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise between the organization and its vendors.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
• Ensure that vendors comply with all contractual obligations, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Monitor vendor adherence to ethical and sustainability standards set by the organization.
• Identify opportunities to streamline vendor management processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management

Linguistic Skills:
• English language spoken and written skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in vendor management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing vendor relationships.
