Technician - Reefer

Job description / Role

• To assist in the repair & maintenance of air-conditioning equipment & refrigeration plant and ensure its continuous maintenance.
• To carry out preventative maintenance duties related to Reefe thereby ensuring it is maintained at all time
• To perform duties according to the specialist skills & training of trade craft under the supervision of the A/C & Reefer Supervisor.
• To communicate with the Supervisor(s) and keep them informed of the progress of work.
• Receiving instruction from the A/C & Reefer section Supervisory staff to carry out repairs and maintenance work according to the daily work program.
• Gain knowledge base to be able to work across sections and job functions, understanding of electrical and mechanical works.

• Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or similar role
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Adherence to safety practices and regulations
• Flexibility to work in varying environmental conditions and irregular hours as needed

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
