Principal Accountabilities

• Analyze business requirements, liaise with project team and produce functional specification document for addressing the requirements on switch and Fraud navigator.
• Integrate and deploy new systems and products closely working with Application Vendors and other solution providers on switch, Authorization Engines and Fraud Engine
• Participate in business requirement discussions and identify any gaps together with high-level proposals for their resolution, workarounds or changes in processes.
• Analyze Visa and MasterCard regulatory requirements and provide the technical solutions
• Certify systems with Visa/MasterCard/UAE CB networks
• Participate in solution design with development to ensure the requirements are addressed. Ensure requirement traceability to facilitate tracking of requirements coverage
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in card related application, components and surrounding applications
• Demonstrate hands-on operational experience in applications, platforms, modules and components supporting issuing and acquiring related business.
• Improve and simply processes and functionality relating to issuing and acquiring and workflows across products and technology architecture using existing capabilities of application
• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents as well as getting the sign-off from the appropriate client.
• Analyze the business requirements and translate it to technical and functional specification.
• Ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined via perform methodical business analysis
• Follow the software development lifecycle from inception throughout design, engineering, testing and deployment. Serving as a liaison between various cross-functional teams that influence card-based applications and modules
• Work with internal and vendor team to define accurate requirement and solutions
• Validate business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards
• Facilitate non-functional and Integration requirements discussions and requirement definitions
• Manage requirement traceability matrix to ensure the delivery coverage and quality
• Align with testing squad for testing activities, test plan, scope and approach and review of test scenarios, test cases, test data, triage and manage defect, validate test result
• Assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team
• Support production cutover and post-live support activities
• Track and report progress and issues to project manager, identify potential risks
• Proactively communicate and collaborate between entities (i.e. internal users, technology team and application vendors) to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
• Ensure vendor clarity on the points raised during the design, implementation and UAT.
• Maintain an overview of the infrastructure and users to constantly reassess the environment and rationalize them.
• Assist the group leader, team leader, project manager and PMO in implementation, progress reports, plans, scoping and vendor management.
• Good team player working closely with peers, other members in the team and the managers to achieve organizational goal.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task under tight timelines

Qualification and skills

• Graduate in Computer Science or similar discipline
• 8+ years in experience in similar job
• Wide understanding in systems used in acquiring and issuing domain, different settlement schemes and related application suite
• Experience with development and maintenance of applications with IST switch including Auth, ATM Drivers, ATM config developments on new screen/state flows, Fraud Navigator, Oracle PL/SQL, VISA, Mastercard, HSMs (Thales or Atalla), key management, Tokenization.
• Very good experience in Visa/MasterCard Certifications and Simulators
• Need to have good experience on C/C++, and Java.
• Experience on ANDC protocols, NCR Enterprise would be added advantage
• Strong understanding of Secure Coding Standards, PCI-DSS
