ABOUT THE JOB

Ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of the workforce to meet organizational goals. This role involves workforce planning, scheduling, optimization of workforce processes, compliance management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. The specialist will work closely with various departments to align workforce strategies with the company's objectives and will be responsible for building the scope of manpower mandates, coordinating with third-party companies to provide skilled and experienced personnel, and evaluating third-party vendors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive workforce plans to align with operational needs and future growth projections.
- Create, manage, and optimize employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels, minimize downtime, and respond to dynamic business demands.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and employee availability to manage shift rotations effectively and ensure continuous coverage.
- Track, analyze, and report on key workforce performance metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and utilization rates.
- Identify areas for performance improvement and implement targeted strategies to enhance workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all workforce operations comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, as well as internal company policies.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of health and safety in the workplace, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Implement corrective actions to address compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on workforce performance, optimization efforts, and key insights.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives in workforce management.
- Establish strong working relationships with department managers to understand workforce needs, challenges, and business objectives.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration between management and employees, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure alignment of workforce strategies with overall organizational goals.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements in workforce management and optimization.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance workforce efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and technologies in workforce management and optimization techniques.
- Develop detailed and comprehensive scopes for manpower mandates, specifying the required skills, experience, qualifications, and job roles.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and HR, to understand specific manpower needs and requirements.
- Define clear criteria, expectations, and performance standards for third-party manpower suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and engage with reputable third-party companies to source skilled and experienced manpower.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with manpower suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service provision.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party manpower suppliers, ensuring they meet organizational standards, compliance requirements, and service level agreements.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of current and potential third-party manpower suppliers.
- Assess vendors based on their ability to meet the required standards, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and quality of service.
- Develop and maintain a database of approved vendors, including performance metrics and feedback.
- Regularly review and update vendor agreements to ensure they continue to meet organizational needs and standards.
- Develop and implement strategic workforce management initiatives to support long-term business objectives.
- Align workforce strategies with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Contribute to the development of workforce policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in related to the Oil & Gas logistics or commercial logistics industry.
- In-depth knowledge in relevant logistics operations data and system management and performance tracking, in addition to relevant knowledge to Oil & Gas logistics and supply chain management
- Proficient in English.
