Site Engineer (Building Projects)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our client (Main Contractor) in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that plans and specifications are followed accurately
- Monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out as per the project schedule
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure that projects are completed within budget
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship are maintained
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to the management team
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Sound understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management systems

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
