Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job description / Role

• To lead the team of Engineers and Designers.
• Responsible for the design and approval of all electrical works on assigned projects
• Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used on assigned projects meet the client Requirements.
• Participate in project scheduling and project review activities.
• Carry out calculations and studies required to ?nalize electrical Equipment and speci?cations.
• Prepare material requisition and technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment on assigned projects.
• Review all third-party discipline design work.
• Understand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are met.
• Actively communicate with other discipline to optimized areas of interface, during the designdevelopment, review, and check processes in the use of ETAP, Lighting calculation software (Dia Lux etc.) MS-OFFICE
• Set up and maintain electrical databases on assigned projects.
• Carry out electrical engineering work as required by the lead electrical engineer in accordance with the agreed project schedule.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT’s) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT’s) for electrical equipment (or equipment with signi?cant electrical content) on assigned projects.
• Assist the designers for the preparation of electrical drawings such as SLD’s, Protection and control schematics and layout drawings.

• With 10 years' experience working for a MEP Design Consultancy firm
• Degree Holder (4 years)
• Can Lead a team of engineers/CAD/BIM operators
• Has worked in the Middle East Region
• Ready to join immediately
