Senior Associate - Compliance

The Company

Robert Half is partnering with a multi-asset investment firm based in Abu Dhabi to find a Senior Compliance Associate. This role reports directly to the VP of Compliance. The Role

* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities, particularly regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
* Assist in drafting and updating compliance manuals, training materials, and other relevant documentation.
* Provide compliance guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including trading desks, portfolio managers, and senior management.
* Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure the company's compliance framework remains current.
* Assist in regulatory filings and submissions as required.
* Participate in regulatory inspections and audits as necessary.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of compliance monitoring tools and systems.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance-related matters for the organization.

The Candidate

* CISI Certifications in Compliance are preferred (not mandatory) or Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or Business Administration.
* 3- 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry
* Strong understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and international compliance standards.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
* Proven track record of managing complex compliance issues and driving compliance initiatives.
