Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

A multinational Pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Senior Accountant for their Dubai office.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage all financial transactions.
- Invoicing and account reconciliation.
- Auditing and analysing financial transactions and documents.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Ensures that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
- Compiles and presents financial and budget reports.
- Responsible for all Internal/ External audit requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent. Relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of accounting/finance experience.
- Must have experience within the FMCG/Pharmaceuticals Industry.
- In-depth knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Arabic is a plus.
