Sales/Estimation Engineer - Lighting

Charterhouse is working with a European leader in architectural lighting, seeking a qualified Sales/Estimation Engineer to join their team in Dubai. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and the sales division, establishing corporate partnerships primarily within the UAE market, as well as across the broader GCC region.

The Sales/Estimation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing lighting tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings to understand lighting requirements, as well as preparing and following up on commercial offers.

The role also involves coordinating locally and with the headquarters on commercial and technical aspects of projects, generating accurate and detailed cost estimates, and effectively communicating with managers, designers, and clients to clarify requirements and handle administrative tasks.

Another key responsibility is providing technical, sales, and marketing support to channel partners across the Middle East, maintaining accurate records and documentation for all projects, and providing weekly/monthly reports to the Reporting Manager.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a lighting estimator or in a related role, with strong proficiency in reviewing and working on shop drawings. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented individual who is analytical, possesses problem-solving skills, and can work effectively in a team. The ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills is also essential.
