Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in the interior fit out industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services to support our projects in the UAE, particularly in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's interior fit out project needs in Dubai.
- Lead the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for projects.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement leadership role within the interior fit out industry.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations in the UAE, particularly in Dubai.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier partnerships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset for driving cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as a good understanding of market dynamics and supply chain management.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
