Job Description

- Supervise the front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Manage and train night staff, ensuring high levels of service and compliance with hotel policies.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and staff, responding to emergencies and incidents as needed.
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel operations, including financial transactions and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication.
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of all areas of the hotel.
- Assist in implementing hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Facilitate smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests arriving or departing during the night.
- Perform night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting, including reconciling accounts and preparing daily revenue reports.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures for various scenarios, such as fire, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
- Create and manage staff schedules for the night shift to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for supplies used during the night shift, including forms, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Provide a detailed handover report to the day manager, highlighting any issues, incidents, or important guest information.
- Assist in the coordination of any events or functions taking place during the night, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.
- Conduct regular security walks around the hotel premises to ensure the safety of guests and staff, and report any irregularities.
- Identify training needs for night staff and assist in conducting training sessions to enhance service quality.
- Actively solicit and document guest feedback during the night to identify areas for improvement and enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols in the hospitality industry
