Mechanical Technician

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company (F&B) to hire a Mechanical Technician for their Dubai office.

The Mechanical Technician will play a pivotal role in the installation and commissioning of machines and lines located at the customer's facilities. The Technician will be required to validate and test equipment as well as identify and resolve potential issues before they arise. This role will also entail technically training the client's personnel to ensure that the management and maintenance of the systems is being carried out correctly.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience within a similar role.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, possessing the ability to plan and solve any potential issues that arise within a timely manner as well as with a keen eye for detail to ensure all the components are functioning correctly.

The candidate will also have sufficient knowledge to read mechanical drawings and mechanical systems.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
