IT Manager - PE/Asset Management/FS

You will play a pivotal role managing the IT operations of a top-tier financial services firm.

Description

* Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data security protocols.
* Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems, including software applications, databases, and cloud services.
* Leverage cloud computing technologies to optimise IT operations and ensure data integrity and availability.
* Develop and enforce policies and procedures for IT security, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
* Oversee and manage major IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
* Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Oversee the provision of technical support to internal users, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

* Must have experience managing an IT department in a Private Equity/Asset Management firm. Top tier consulting firms or law firm experience will also be considered.
* Candidates must be based in the UAE, and open to be based out of Abu Dhabi full time.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Arabic speakers would be highly preferred.
* Professional IT certifications such as PMP, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, and Cyber Security certifications are highly desirable.
* A minimum of 10-15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of proven experience in IT management or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing IT operations and leading IT projects.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS or Azure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
