Synopsis

This role plays a pivotal part in the strategic support of the division's Corporate Affairs (CA) strategy and associated programs, projects, and priorities, from their inception to execution. The role will offer expert counsel to the Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer (CP&CA) and CA department leaders, enhancing programs and performance. It will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders to drive changes, improve the division's brand, and ensure the achievement of goals. The role will be a crucial facilitator for data-driven decision-making, responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting CA metrics and trends to optimize business operations.

Corporate Affairs includes the following departments:

- Health and Wellbeing (Etihad Airways Medical Centre)
- Asset Management
- Corporate Communications
- Government Affairs and CSR

While the position's primary responsibility is program delivery for Corporate Affairs, it is an integral part of the People & Corporate Affairs division and a broader program team that also supports Talent Acquisition and HR programs (People). The role is expected to contribute across the entire portfolio, responding to divisional needs and priorities.

The position requires a results-driven program leader who is highly effective at managing task delivery through prioritization, planning, and a structured approach and is strongly inclined to critically analyse and evaluate information to identify key themes and issues effectively. The position is a strategic initiative leader for Corporate Affairs rather than a 'project manager'.

Accountabilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CP&CA officer and senior CA leadership, offering strategic insights on critical initiatives and challenges with a focus on lifting overall divisional performance in line with best practice.
- Build visualisations, reports, business cases and Board-level decks, supported by compelling narratives, to support the presentation of key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Define project scopes, create project plans, and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Develop recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CA programmes and services and identify areas to improve CA functional performance against industry benchmarks.
- Act as a change leader and initiator and effectively utilise change methodologies to design and deploy CA solutions.
- Manage the reporting , tracking and driving delivery of the strategy roadmaps, initiatives and the annual strategy planning cycle for the Corporate Affairs departments
- Work with HR PDT to deliver Corporate Affairs process and technology solutions
- Champion a process-centric performance culture and digital HR future.

Requirements:

- Bachelors/master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, communications or related field.
- 5+ years' Human Capital experience within a consultancy organisation, ideally supporting across corporate functions strategy, analytics, project and program management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. Arabic would be considered an advantage.
- Able to effectively and independently facilitate meetings and group workshops.
- Able to think strategically and pragmatically to align people programmes with organisational objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Proven organisational skills and can effectively manage competing demands.
