HSE Engineer - ADNOC Approval

Are you passionate about ensuring safety and well-being in the workplace? We're looking for a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our client in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our health, safety, and environmental standards.

Our client is one of the most well-known Project Management and Engineering Consultancy in Abu Dhabi and looking for candidates with HSE background from Construction Industry.

- Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with local regulations and company standards.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of project sites, facilities, and equipment to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Offer HSE guidance and support to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, promoting best practices and proactive risk management.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and create corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct HSE training sessions and toolbox talks for employees to raise awareness and enhance safety performance.
- Communicate with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders on HSE-related matters, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and trends, and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills, and provide support during emergencies as needed.
- Advocate for sustainability initiatives and environmental conservation efforts throughout company operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC Group) are a MUST.
- Minimum of 2 years of HSE experience within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Preferably an HSE Engineer already approved by ADNOC, or a candidate eligible for ADNOC approval pending successful completion of the exam/selection process.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities and a proactive approach to safety and environmental management.
- Fluency in English.

Salary:
AED 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
