HR Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and implementing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. The HR Officer will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Support the HR manager in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications
- Conduct orientation and onboarding for new employees
- Administer and maintain HR records and databases
- Assist in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Conduct performance management and appraisal processes
- Assist in developing and implementing training and development programs
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role, preferably in the construction industry
- Sound knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Hands-on experience with HR software
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
