Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE .

This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing geotechnical designs.

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Designing of ground investigations.
- Managing ground investigations, coordination with Contractors and supervision.
- Undertaking interpretation and reporting of the factual data.
- Undertaking shallow foundation assessments, overturning, sliding, bearing resistance, and settlement.
- Undertaking deep foundation design
- Becoming familiar with construction specifications, and producing site specific earthworks, ground improvement, dewatering and piling specs.
- Covering the Senior Engineer from administrative and non technical tasks as and when required.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with preference in the specialized field of Geotechnics and more than 2 years of experience in a similar position. Having a Masters Degree in Geotechnical is desirable .

Furthermore, you should demonstrate :

- Experience in geotechnical design.
- Fundamental understanding of soil mechanics .
- Retaining wall or slope stability software experience would be beneficial .
- Experience in ground investigation design, management and interpretation.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
