Food Handler

Job description / Role

We are looking for Food Handlers to join our client’s team for various events in Dubai. Our client is a leading events business in the region, and this role offers a great opportunity to work in a lively and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation, presentation, and serving of food at events, maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with health and safety standards, ensuring food is served efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and supporting with the setup and breakdown of food stations as needed.

Candidates must be on their own visa (Spouse, Family, Golden, or Freelancer). Previous experience in food handling or events is a plus but not required. We are looking for individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and have a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate for this Food Handler position is someone with experience as a waiter, waitress, or server, who is accustomed to working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You should be comfortable with handling food, interacting with guests, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key attributes we are looking for include:

- Experience: Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, server, or in a similar role within the food service industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices will be a significant advantage.

- Customer Service Skills: A strong focus on delivering excellent customer service is essential. You should be able to communicate effectively with event guests and colleagues, providing a friendly and professional experience.

- Attention to Detail: The ability to follow health and safety regulations closely, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food presentation meets high standards is crucial.

- Adaptability: We value candidates who can think on their feet and handle the varying demands of working at events. You should be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing situations.

- Team Player: Collaboration is key in event settings. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, helping to set up and break down food stations, and support other event staff as needed.

- Visa Requirement: Must be on your own visa (Spouse, Family, Golden, or Freelancer). This is a non-negotiable requirement due to the nature of the events.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the buzz of the events industry and is looking to contribute their food service skills to a variety of exciting projects.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
