Finance Controller

Job description / Role

We (Arcadian Investment) are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning. You will play a key role in driving financial performance and guiding decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage the company's financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
* Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
* Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Prepare financial analyses for business decisions, including investment opportunities and cost control measures.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
* Proven experience in financial management or accounting roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
