Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to oversee our food exports to Africa. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the African market, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of successfully expanding export operations in the food industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the export strategy for our food products to various countries in Africa, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential distributors, agents, and partners in the African market to establish and maintain strong business relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with international clients, ensuring profitable terms and conditions for the company.
- Collaborate with the production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to the African market.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Manage and optimize the export budget, forecasting sales and expenses to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the export sales team, setting clear performance objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Export Manager or similar role in the food industry, with a focus on the African market.
- In-depth knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices in Africa.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with international clients and partners.
- Strategic mindset and business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Analytical and results-driven approach, with the ability to set and achieve ambitious sales targets and financial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field. Additional certifications in export management or international business are a plus.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages spoken in the African market is highly desirable.
