Job Title:
Capital Markets & Market Research Intern

Summary/Objective:
The candidate should have an overall research, analytical and execution support to the Capital Market function of the firm with high attention to detail. This position would require a candidate to understand sector drivers, conduct valuation exercises, monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to stay up to date with real estate market. This position requires a candidate to collect and analyze raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry;
- Analyze market data to assess market dynamics and performance;
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders;
- Monitor competitor listings, pricing strategies, and offerings to identify potential threats and opportunities to improve our listing performance to boost revenue;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to support business initiatives and campaigns;
- Stay updated on industry news, regulations, and best practices to provide informed insights and recommendations to clients.

Skills/Qualifications required:
- Project management skills – prioritizing and delivering the tasks on-time under minimal supervision;
- Problem solving mindset – ensure professional financial rigor is applied to decision-making process;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong research & analytical aptitude, and an ability to ask questions;
- Strong collaboration & interpersonal skills;
- Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks;
- Ability and willingness to work for long hours and in a highly demanding environment;
- Candidates with CFA/MBA academics would be preferred;
- Strong accounting and finance knowledge as well as knowledge of financial ratios and ability to analyze them;
- Excellent MS Excel skills (conditional formulas, v-lookup, pivot, etc.) – ability to handle multiple and large datasets;
- Good hands-on experience on MS Powerpoint – should be able to turnaround information into a presentable slide;
- Financial modelling skills (it’s a plus).
